Amanda’s Action Club runs weekly sessions in private nurseries and children’s centres across London and the South East, helping to promote the importance of exercise and fitness to the under 5’s and their families.
Our classes help children to learn through play. We encourage them to be active, communicate with each other and express themselves. Using our props and themed activities we stimulate imaginations and help children understand their environment through inquisitive exploration. We incorporate literacy and numeracy in our classes. Personal and social development is strengthened as they have fun with their peers!
During our sessions, children are encouraged to explore, plan, choose and change activities. They’re challenged to develop new skills and to think for themselves, which improves their strength, co-ordination, balance and perception. By encouraging everyone to join in, staff and adults included, a stimulating and engaging atmosphere is created.
Amanda’s Action Club works with schools for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and can organise sessions tailored to meet individual needs.
"Amanda's Action Club has been coming to the nursery every week since we opened. The children (and staff) love the visits and we eagerly wait for Amanda to arrive, she injects her sessions with her own personal enthusiasm which is very infectious, making a really fun session for the children. I can't recommend Amanda's Action Club highly enough for their very unique classes."

"Amanda's Action Club classes are very popular at Islip Manor Children's Centre. It is a great way of introducing exercise to our under 5s and their families. Lise is excellent at encouraging the families to join in with the children and she gives the families ideas of activities to try at home. The sessions are challenging and fun, and always full! We have found that by offering Amanda's Action Club sessions to our families it encourages new families into our Centre, thus increasing our reach."
Rhona Mears, Head of Islip Manor Children's Centre, Middlesex
"Amanda very kindly offered to carry out a session at my school in central London. The school is a special school for children with severe / profound multiple learning difficulties, complex medical needs, autism or challenging behaviour. Amanda worked with the whole primary department with approximately 30 children with a wide range of needs. The session lasted about an hour and was absolutely brilliant! Amanda was able to ensure that all of the students were engaged at all times and the students remained so for the whole hour which is a huge achievement for the students! The students were motivated by Amanda’s loud, outgoing and inspiring teaching strategies and some of the students were keen to join in independently by using the microphone / copying dance moves etc. We are very fortunate to have a high staff ratio and all the teaching staff and teaching assistants were extremely impressed and I was asked if ‘Amanda can come back every Friday’ and was told ‘I have never seen the students remain focused for so long!’.Thank you so much Amanda….I would certainly recommend you and your sessions for all students of any age and ability. It was an absolute treat for both students and staff."

"It has been our pleasure to welcome Amanda to our nurseries over the last two years. From the moment she arrives, dressed in her outrageous fun attire, her energy and enthusiasm is addictive!! Teachers and children are dancing, singing, waving ribbons in the air to a mixture of child friendly music which also includes the latest ‘hits’. How she manages to hold the attention of 80 children of all different ages for such a long time is amazing, the excitement in their little faces is unbelievable!!! We are still singing and dancing when she bounces out the door. Thank you for giving up your time to visit us and please hurry back!!!"

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you from all of the team here for speaking for us at the Nursery+Primary Show this year. I say speaking, when I should say dancing, singing and making everybody laugh and smile! We really appreciate you giving up your time to do so, and hope that you found it an enjoyable experience. The feedback we’ve had from our visitors has been overwhelmingly positive, with many people commentating on how much fun your session was."
