Early Years Training

I started Amanda’s Action Club as my goal was to bring fun and fitness to as many children as possible, and my training has been devised so that you and / or your staff can deliver my fun, energetic, interactive and stimulating routines to the children in your care on a daily basis.

The activities link into the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) which sets out the welfare and developmental goals for children aged five years and under. They also promote physical activity, health and activity not just for the children, but for those delivering the sessions.

The training will be tailored to your needs and situation; we will first of all collate as much information from you in relation to your organisation and requirements and will then provide you a course / package outline and pricing, providing you with the various options that we can offer.


Consultancy for Early Years Staff

The NHS and World Health Organisation recommend that all children should exercise for at least one hour of moderate to vigorous activity per day, but in Early Years it is recommended that as soon as they can walk, children should be physically active for at least three hours.

All children aged under 5
Children under 5 should not be inactive for long periods, except when they’re asleep. Watching TV, travelling by car, bus or train, or being strapped into a buggy for long periods are not good for a child’s health and development.

There’s growing evidence that such behaviour can increase their risk of poor health. For children aged 5 and under the challenge is to engage them in the activity Physical activities should be spread throughout the day, indoors or outside. The recommended three hours can include light activities such as standing up, moving around, rolling and playing as well as more energetic activities like skipping, hopping, running and jumping.

My training packages have been devised so the you and your staff can deliver my fun, energetic and stimulating routines to the children in your care on a daily basis, linking into the EYFS and also promoting physical activity, health and wellbeing. My routines stimulate the child’s imagination through a unique blend of fun, interaction and movement.
